    沙漏是現存最古老的計時器具，沙子從高處落下在地面堆積，可知道時間經過。 建築將他還原到最基本的樣態，便是一顆顆的沙粒，俗話說聚沙成塔， 也是在說明經過時間的累積，可以得到一個巨大的結果。 沙子、時間、建築，三者其實有種很好玩的連帶關係，經由沙子往下堆積， 慢慢堆出一座座建築，居住的城市就慢慢浮現在你眼前， 宛如時間經過，歷史演變，有一種微小又宏觀的時代感。


    砂、時、建築の三者に見えない関係が繋がってある。 砂が流れ、時は流れてゆく。 時が流れ、建築も築き上げられてゆく。 砂時計に、時が流れ、砂が落ち、落ちた砂は建築の一部になり、 どんどん上に築き上げ、町になる。 小さな世界だけど、時代感の味わいがある。 「T O K I」。


    The FLOW of time is the invisible thing to know. Long long time ago people knows the time by accumulation of sand in hourglass. The work attempts the base of TIME by setting scales in hourglass,and to connect the base of sand, and more specific to visualize. We know the time is moving on by sand in hourglass builds one and one buildings. When more and more building appears,the city you live will also appears in front of you.
